YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
NO! Microblading and Ombré Brows are done using my specialized tattooing technique which results in soft, natural looking eyebrows. When pigment is implanted in the skin, it actually appears more natural looking than topically applied cosmetics (makeup).
I will ask you some questions about your eyebrow goals and I will evaluate your skin type. I will then determine whether microblading, ombré brows, or a combo brow is best suited for you. Either way you will have beautiful natural looking brows.
We choose a shape and style together. At the beginning of the procedure, Cara will measure your facial features and draw a suggested shape for your new brows with a pencil. She will measure your eyebrows with a ruler mm by mm. No free hand drawings as she is an absolute perfectionist when it comes to her clients faces.
You will work together to perfect it according to your preference. Measurements are taken to check symmetry and position before the actual tattooing begins.
We will choose a colour together that is the best match for your skin tone, features and personal preference.
Results differ from person to person depending on their lifestyle and health. Ombre or powder brows do last longer than microblading. Your eyebrows will fade a little bit each passing year. It is recommended that Ombre or powder brows get a touch up every two to three years. Which, with styles changing throughout the years give you the ability to stay up to date.
Microblading is not suitable for all skin types. If you are a candidate for microblading it will last 12 to 18 months. In general, it requires touch-ups once or twice a year. Once pigment from the procedure begins to noticeably fade, you’ll need to go back for a touch-up application.
No not at all! Some clients who have experienced discomfort compare the discomfort to a mild sunburn. I have clients who fall asleep during the procedure as I use high-end numbing products which work within 2 minutes.
My technique is also not the same as tattooing. It does not feel the same as a tattoo!
